How to find the hypotenuse

This is really easy!

If you have the x and y coordinates:

For example: (3; 4)

Type in 3  4   

Your calculator screen will then look like this:

r is your hypotenuse – which is 5 and your angle made with between the y-axis and the hypotenuse is 53^o 

What if you have the angle and the hypotenuse, for example: angle = 30^o 

and hypotenuse = 5?

Simply type in the hypotenuse and then the angle like this:

5  30
