How to use the Random Function

In normal mode, the SHARP EL-W535 has a random function.

If you press    to access the random menu, you will find that you have 4 options:

0:RAND         1:R-DICE

2:R-COIN      3:R-INT

RAND gives random numbers between 0 and 1 to three decimal places.

R-DICE gives the numbers 1 to 6 (just like a dice).

R-COIN gives the numbers 0 and 1 and you choose which represents heads and which represents tails.

R-INT gives random numbers between 0 and 99.  (On the new Sharp EL-W535SAB – the calculator allows you to specify between which two integers you would like to generate random numbers between – type in the first number, press   type in the end number and continue as below).

Select the random number option you would like by pressing the corresponding number key. Then to “roll the dice” or receive a random number simply press . To get another random number press  again.
